Alex and Andia met in Denver in the fall of 2020, finding each other on a dating app, as one did in the immediate wake of the pandemic. The conversation flowed so naturally that neither can remember who contacted who first. On their first date they connected quickly over a similar taste in music, love of animals, a shared background in graphic design, and active lifestyle.

Andia moved to Denver from Los Angeles at the start of that year, barely getting settled before the shutdown began, so Alex had the high-pressure task of not just making an impression but selling a self-described beach girl on the advantages of mountain life and Denver.

It worked, and though they took their time dating and merging lives together, its been obvious to all who know them that they’d be getting married sooner or later!
